Family Centers are a form of social support for the family placement of graduates of orphanages, in which the Fund arranges living conditions for groups (5-8 people) with a family of mentors. The Fund's specialists provide social, professional and psychological support, protects the rights and legitimate interests of orphaned children and children left without parental care.
Purpose: to provide psychological, legal, and social support to orphanage graduates who are studying in technical schools and community colleges during their transition period from residential dependence to independent life.
Program Objectives:
1) Development of adequate life skills for young people from among orphans and children left without parental care, for their successful integration into society (self-care at home; interaction with State institutions and organizations; personal health care, budgeting, career guidance, employment skills, etc.)
2) Increasing the level of social and psycholgical competence: the formation of generally accepted norms of behavior; the development of skills for building constructive communication with others, including those of the opposite sex.
3) Development of personal creative potential, formation of motivation for personal growth.
In 2019 the Family Center in the city of Vladimir continued its ongoing work. The program served 8 orphaned young people who received psychological, social, and educational assistance in order to successfully adapt to society.
