Medical Program

Through the Medical Program, orphanages and graduates of orphanages receive vitamins, medications, and medical supplies they need. Operations, medical examinations, treatment, and eyeglasses are provided at the Fund's expense.

 

Goal: to Improve the health of children and graduates of orphanages and other forms of alternative care.

 

Program Objectives:

 

1) Identification of medical needs of program participants.

 

2) Promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

 

In 2019 as part of the program, 22 group classes and 426 individual consultations on healthy lifestyle and personal hygiene were held for graduates of orphanages in the Vladimir and Kostroma regions. Healthy Diet clubs continued their ongoing work in the Vladimir and Kostroma Ministry Centers (CarePoints), where participants learned how to cook healthy and at the same time budget-friendly dishes and learned about the importance of a healthy diet.
